On 19 September, IT Community of Uzbekistan held its Roadshow in Bukhara. The event gathered more than 190 participants at Asman University, where speakers shared their experience in IT careers, startups, freelancing and the use of AI.

A ceremonial meeting with first-year students was held at ASMAN UNIVERSITY to mark the new academic year. Speaking at the event, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Niyozov Alisher Kamilovich sincerely congratulated the young people who have joined the ranks of our university's students. In his address, the Vice-Rector reflected on the place of student years in a person's life and urged the young people to take their studies seriously, to master their courses thoroughly and to strictly follow the university's internal rules. He also introduced them to how the study process is organized, the assessment system and the main requirements set for students. During the meeting, first-year students were introduced to the university's modern lecture halls, the electronic library, language centers and the opportunities offered by academic and creative clubs. The first days of the new academic year began in high spirits at ASMAN UNIVERSITY! The ceremony started in the university courtyard with the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. First Vice-Rector for Strategy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Sharipov Shavkat Safarovich addressed the audience and warmly congratulated the first-year students on joining the ranks of our university's students and on the start of the new academic year. In his address he wished the young people patience and perseverance in their pursuit of knowledge, respect for their mentors and devotion to their chosen profession. During the first days of the academic year, Independence Lessons were held in the groups under the motto "One Motherland, one nation - we create a new life and future!" Young people entering the new academic year are getting closely acquainted with the modern learning process, faculty opportunities and student life at the university. Teachers of the Department of Financial Technologies, Economics and Logistics Sh. Turayev, F. Rakhmatova, D. Akhmedova, Z. Salimboyev and M. Gafurov organized a field trip for group 1-1IQT-23 students at the «O'zbegim» residential project of «Mega House» LLC construction company. During the class, company representatives held a conversation with students and provided full information about residential construction processes, economic aspects of the project, and conditions for purchasing housing.

Safe migration campaign at Craftsmen's Center

The «Safe Migration Information Campaign» event was held at the «Craftsmen's Center» in Guliston, Syrdarya region. The event was organized by the «Youth Association of Uzbekistan» with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The event was held in two sessions: 12:00–13:30 with 1st–2nd year students, 14:30–16:30 with senior students. Participants received legal advice, reliable information and recommendations on safe migration routes. Over 800 young people participated and received answers to questions about studying and working abroad.

A final report concert was organized by music program students at the ASMAN UNIVERSITY Guliston campus. At the event, young performers presented the results of their months of tireless work to a wide audience. The captivating live performances on musical instruments and the harmony of elegant dances gave the audience great aesthetic pleasure and demonstrated the students' professional skills. The most exciting moments of the evening were the festive award ceremony for talented students who showed activity both in classes and in public work throughout the academic year. The university leadership recognized the achievements of young artists and presented commemorative gifts. Such encouragement events contribute to healthy competition among students and inspire them to new creative heights.
